EPIC Single board computer with Atom processor
The Catalyst EC, based on the Intel Atom processor, offers high performance with under 3W of power consumption and very low heat generation. Targeted for mobile applications such as transportation, medical and industrial where low power and fanless operation are critical, the Catalyst EC consists of an EPIC-compliant carrier board with Eurotech's Catalyst Module mounted to it.
The Catalyst EC excels in performance, graphics, and communication while maintaining low cost. In addition, the EPIC carrier board supports connections for a range of wireless options such as Bluetooth, 802.11, and GPS. Custom solutions can easily meet unique application requirements. Flexibility is also offered through a range of operating system choices including Windows CE®, XP®, XPe®, Vista®; Linux®; and targeted real time operating systems (RTOS).
