PC/104-Plus ISIS
Intel® Atom™ Low Power PC/104 Plus (PCI and ISA bus) CPU Module
The ISIS processor board provides the low power and rich feature set of Intel's Atom™ LPIA architecture in PC/104-Plus form factor.
The ISIS module consists of a PC/104-Plus carrier board coupled with the Catalyst module and requires under than 8W at up to 1.6GHz
The ISIS is ideal in any design where X86 compatibility, low power, high performance and a wide range of peripherals must be combined; it is also perfect to bring new life to existing projects by providing a simple and effective upgrade path for legacy PC104 CPU modules.
The ISIS offers high-performance x86-compatibility in a fanless design that requires only a fraction of the power previously needed for comparable systems.
Running at less than 8W at 1.6GHz, the ISIS delivers a very rich set of features that make it easy to implement new designs; ISIS is also compatible with legacy designs based on the ISA bus, enabling a simple upgrade path towards more computational capacity and a larger feature set.
Memory
The ISIS comes with up to 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 4GB of soldered-down Flash. Further solid state Flash expansion is available via an SDIO socket.
Operating Systems
Windows XP®, Windows XP Embedded®, Windows CE 6.0® and Wind River Linux 3.0® are all fully compatible and available for the ISIS pre-installed to cut development efforts and time to market
Interfaces
A full range of on board peripherals are provided, including 8 x USB 2.0 ports, VGA, LVDS, HD-Audio, RS232/422/485, Ethernet, GPIO and IDE.
A rich set of expansion buses includes a combination of PC/104 (ISA), PC/104+ (PCI) and PCIExpress Mini Card: interfacing to any expansion board and option is now a snap.
