R1-120TC
Multiloop controller with 6 thermocouple input channels
The R family includes a series of multiloop controllers well suited for all applications that require control of a large number of temperatures; all controllers can be mounted on a DIN rail and can be linked to a local operator panel (F1-10).
Different models are available for reading Pt100, thermocouples or linear signals (V/mA); for each loop it is possible to configure control type (heat, cool, heat/cool, ..), output type (on/off, time proportional, valve, ..) and alarm strategy or to run a auto-tuning procedure; furthemore it is possible to limit the energy conumption during start-up by programming a proper sequence of activation of PID loops. R2 models have differential isolated channels that gives another substantial improovement to the features of these devices , expecially in noisy industrial environments.
A RS422/485 serial interface with Modbus (ASCII or RTU) protocol allows link of many controllers to the same master unit (PC, PLC or operator panel).
Multiloop temperature controller for DIN rail mounting; 6 thermocouple inputs with automatic compensation of the cold junction; accurate readings without need of calibration; up to 6 PID loops; heat, cool or heat/cool control with various output types: on/off, time proportional, analog (with addition of C1-10 external module) or for motorized valve control (open/ close); PID autotuning algorithm; programmable activation sequence to limit the energy consumption during start-up; dedicated interface for connection with a local operator panel (F1-10)
The R1 model provides a common ground input channels . Thermocouples connected to this device must be isolated.
In the R2 model the inputs are differential ; the channels are isolated each other and toward ground. In this model "grounded " type thrmocouple inputs can be provided with fastest response time and installing facility
Beside the local panel F1-10 , the R1/2-120TC can be connected through an RS422/485 serial interface with Modbus (ASCII or RTU) protocol to a SCADA software.

Thanks to the open standard modbus protocol it's easy to build complex applications were more than one unit are involved even using standard commercial SCADA software or cheaper HMI operator panels .
Under customer specifications Sielco Elettronica provides customized applications based on its devices
The compact size of the device toghether with its modularity ( 6 channel /unit ), makes this unit to be primarly employed in temperature control of hot runner systems and injection molding processes, heaters and extruders.
