ZyWAN
Industrial quad band 3G/GPRS/GSM cellular routing modem for WWAN connectivity
The ZyWAN brings always-on Internet connectivity to any field based device, enabling it to be monitored or relay data back to a central server.
Connecting to the ZyWAN via either an Ethernet cable, Wi-Fi or RS232, remote users are provided access to their field based equipment as transparently as if it were located in their office.
In addition to an easy to use web based GUI for configuration, the ZyWAN's Linux subsystem is also accessible allowing users to add propriety code to tailor the ZyWAN's functionality to their exact requirements.
Targeted for fleets, public works and utilities oil and gas applications, the rugged ZyWAN offers a secure and robust connection to CDMA, EVDO, GSM/GPRS, 3G and iDEN cellular networks. It provides real-time access to any Ethernet, 802.11 or serial device for mobile and fixed data applications.
The ZyWAN operates as a fully configurable embedded Linux® router enabling firewalling, DHCP, DNS and NAT. Also included is a GPS receiver providing both a sophisticated tracking program and NMEA data strings for mapping applications. To easily manage the ZyWAN, a WEB GUI interface presents a simple tool to quickly change settings locally or over-the-air. Each of the ZyWAN products is available in number of customer ready application configurations.
