Rotterdam-Rijnmond is not the only region in the Netherlands with an extinguishing robot, but with the current arsenal on board it is the most advanced at the moment. The last two months was used for practicing and training with the extinguishing robot. The first real deployment took place in November 2020.
For wireless data communication, the extinguishing robot is equipped with an Acksys module with WiFi and 4G router (AirBox/14).
