Unmanaged Ethernet switch with 9 or 17 ports, EL-1100-4AC
EKS Fiber Optic Systems has added the EL-1100-4AC series to the range of Ethernet switches. The EL-1100-4AC are industrial unmanaged Ethernet Layer 2 switches with 8 or 16 RJ45 10/100Mbs ports and one Gigabit uplink with SC connection for multimode or singlemode fiber optic.
Due to the compact design of 155 x 40 x 108 mm and DIN rail mounting, the Ethernet switches are ideally suited for installation in switch and distribution cabinets where space is limited.
Fiber optic connections are extremely suitable for Ethernet networks where the mutual distances between the network components are greater than 100 meters and in places where EMC problems or lightning strikes can be expected.
The EL-1100-4AC is powered by 230VAC with a maximum power consumption of 13.5 watts. The RJ45 Ethernet ports support Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI / MDI-X. Depending on the type of fiber, it is possible to bridge distances of up to 25 km between two Ethernet switches.
