S0 impuls counter to M-Bus converter , BIALON MB-3IC
The BIALON MB-3IC pulse acquisition module lets you connect up to 3 devices with a zero potential pulse output, such as a Reed contact or relay output, to the M-Bus. Power is supplied via the M-Bus; no external power supply is required. Thanks to an internal backup power supply, the metering function and thus the external power supply can be sustained even in case of an extended failure of the M-Bus.

Description
The BIALON MB-3IC pulse acquisition module lets you connect up to 3 devices with a zero potential pulse output, such as a Reed contact or relay output, to the M-Bus. Power is supplied via the M-Bus; no external power supply is required. Thanks to an internal backup power supply, the metering function and thus the external power supply can be sustained even in case of an extended failure of the M-Bus. The prerequisite for this is that the external device does not generate a load on the pulse input. M-Bus voltage is indicated by the green Power LED; this indicator is unlit for battery operation.
Configuration of the pulse inputs (setting the pulse value, meter readings, etc.) and the M-Bus slave (baud rate, device addresses, write protect, etc.) is handled via the M-Bus using a PC-based configuration tool. The device features automatic baud rate detection.
The shield for the connecting cable to the pulse senders (if present) and the M-Bus cable shield can be patched on the device's PE terminals. Make sure that the shield cable is only connected on one side. The M-Bus has polarity dependent; note the polarity on connecting the bus cable.
