RS232 to RS422/RS485 converter, K2-ADE
The K2-ADE and K2-ADE-TB are mini RS232 to RS485 converters. The K2-ADE has a microprocessor for automatic RS485 driver control (ADE is Auto Drive Enable) and does not need RTS control on the half-duplex RS485 bus.They are powered via the RTS and DTR signals from the RS232 sub-D 9 port. On the RS485 side there is a sub-D 9 or screw terminal block connector.
