RS232 to RS422/RS485 isolated converter, AD400Ei
The AD400Ei is an universal compact RS232 tot RS422/RS485 converter with galvanic isolation between the both ports. This galvanic isolation protects the RS232 port of the PC and avoids "ground loops". The RS232 sub-D9 port can directly be connected to PCs. The RS422/RS485 port is a screw terminal block. In the half-duplex RS485 mode, the converter switches automaticaly between send an receive. The converter is externaly powered.
