USB naar RS422/RS485 geïsoleerde omvormer, USB-485
De USB-485 is een geïsoleerde USB naar RS422 of RS485 omvormer. Het is ideaal voor computers die geen fysieke seriële poort hebben en waarop geen RS232 interface converter op kan worden aangesloten. De USB-poort biedt ook voldoende stroom voor een full-spec RS422 of RS485 interface die eindweerstanden en lange kabels kan aansturen. Stuurprogramma's worden bijgeleverd op een 80 mm CD om een virtuele COM-poort in het besturingssysteem te maken.
De optionele CAB-003-XLR-kabel converteert de DB9-connector naar de standaard mannelijke 3-pins XLR die wordt gebruikt in professionele audio/video toepassingen. De USB-485 is uniek in de markt omdat het apparaat een uniek ID heeft dat ervoor zorgt dat het onder hetzelfde COM-poortnummer verschijnt, ongeacht op welke USB-poort van PC de converter wordt aangesloten. Dit vereenvoudigt de configuratie van de toepassingssoftware en elimineert veel technische ondersteuningsproblemen.

Beschrijving
The USB-485 is an isolated USB to RS422 or RS485 converter. It is ideal for laptops which do not have a physical serial port and cannot be used with a conventional interface converter. The USB port also provides sufficient power for a full-spec RS422 or RS485 interface capable of driving termination resistors and long cables. Drivers are included (on an 80mm CD) to create a virtual COM port in the operating system.
The USB-485 is unique in the market in that it has a world-unique device ID which ensures that it appears under the same COM port number regardless of which USB port on a particular PC it is plugged into. This simplifies application software configuration and eliminates many tech support issues.
The optional CAB-003-XLR cable converts the DB9 connector to the standard 3-pin male XLR used in professional broadcast applications.
As recommended by XTA, when combined with the CAB-003-XLR cable, this converter provides a remote interface between their iCore software and DP series audio management controllers.
